Send an edited attachment

In Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access you can make changes to a downloaded file before you forward it or return it to the sender.

Tip  Attachments aren't copied when you reply to a message. To include attachments, forward the message instead of replying to it. If you need to return the attachment to the original sender, add the sender's name to the forwarding list.

  1. Open the message with the original attachment, and then click Forward on the toolbar.
  2. In the message form, on the toolbar, click Add Attachment Button image.
  3. To select the original attachment, under Current file attachments, select the check box next to the file name, and then click Remove.
  4. To attach your revised version of the original attachment, click Browse, and then in the File Upload dialog box, select the attachment file you edited.
  5. Click Open.
  6. Under Add the file to the list, click Attach.
  7. To return to the message form, click Close. The name of your attached file now appears in the message heading under Attachments.
