Move or copy a message

Note  For information on moving and copying folders, see Move or copy folders.

  1. Open the message you want to move or copy.
  2. On the toolbar, click Move Button image or Copy Button image.
  3. The Move Folder Picker screen or the Copy Folder Picker screen opens, displaying all available folders. Click the radio button next to the destination folder, and then click Apply.

Note  If the destination folder is a subfolder, it won't be displayed in the Move Folder Picker or Copy Folder Picker screens. To select a subfolder, click a parent folder until you navigate to the appropriate level in your folder hierarchy.

Tip  You can also move or copy a message without opening it. Open the folder that contains the message, and then select the check box next to it. On the Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access toolbar, click Move Button image or Copy Button image. Then follow the same procedure as above.
